KARACHI: Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nuhal Hashmi on Thursday inaugurated the fifth DALFA Cattle Show- 2026 here Karachi Expo Centre, calling it one of the country’s major livestock and dairy exhibitions.
The event, organised by Badr Expo Solutions and DALFA, was attended by company CEO Zohair Nasir and other industry representatives.
The Governor, speaking at the inauguration, said the exhibition provided an important platform for farmers, experts and industrial stakeholders to showcase innovation and share knowledge in the livestock sector.
He said Pakistan’s agriculture and livestock sectors formed the backbone of the national economy, supporting millions of livelihoods in rural areas and playing a critical role in economic stability.
“The DALFA Cattle Show is among the leading livestock and dairy exhibitions in the country and serves as a bridge to connect local producers with international markets and technologies,” he said.
The four-day exhibition aims to promote investment, modern farming practices, and access to new research and technologies in the livestock sector, officials said.
The Governor also toured various stalls after the inauguration and praised the organisers for facilitating an event that he said would help strengthen productivity and self-sufficiency in the agricultural economy.
