HYDERABAD: On the directives of Director General Waqar Hussain Phulpoto and Deputy Director Technical / Regional In-charge Sindh Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) Hyderabad Ali Nawaz Bhambhro, strict monitoring of industrial units is continuing in various industrial areas including Nooriabad.

In this regard, a team from the SEPA Jamshoro Office inspected different industrial units in Nooriabad to ensure compliance with the SEPA Act 2014.

During the inspection, Deputy Director Law Enforcement / District In-charge Qutubuddin Dars, Field Officer Noor Ahmed Nahiyoon and Environmental Inspector Muhammad Saleem conducted a detailed visit of the industrial units.

On the Occasion, the team reviewed measures taken to control wastewater discharge, air pollution and environmental contamination. During the visit, the team also thoroughly examined the environmental compliance status of the industrial units, the steps adopted for pollution control and adherence to environmental standards.

On this occasion, the relevant officials emphasized that all industrial units must fully comply with the requirements of the Sindh Environmental Protection Act 2014 to ensure the protection of the environment and public health.
