BEIJING: China’s Commerce Minister ​Wang Wentao met ‌with heads of German companies Volkswagen ​Group and ​Bosch on Sunday ⁠to discuss opportunities ​and challenges ​in economic and trade relations between China ​and the ​European Union.

Wang emphasised the ‌need ⁠to “properly resolve trade frictions through dialogue and consultation ​during ​the ⁠talks, the ministry said ​in a ​statement.
