LAHORE: The newly appointed Chinese Consul General in Lahore, Sun Yan has said that Pak-China cooperation will continue at all levels in future and the bilateral relations between two countries will be further developed in various fields.
The Chinese CG called on Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan at Governor House Lahore.
Speaking on the occasion, the governor said that there is an unbreakable bond of trust and love between Pakistan and China. He said that both countries have supported each other in every difficult time. He said that President Asif Ali Zardari of Pakistan played a key role in CPEC. He added that between 2008 and 2013, President Asif Ali Zardari paid 14 official visits to China.
He further underlined the need to foster partnerships in research between Pakistani and Chinese universities. He said that Pakistani students prefer to pursue higher education in China. He said that there should be more exchanges of delegations between China and Pakistan in the fields of education and business.
