Reports reflect assessments from traders and further estimates of prices and volumes are still possible later. Traders said these other trading houses participated in the Wednesday’s tender, with the following estimated price offers per ton c&f: Cargill USD273.95, Dreyfus USD273.00, Bunge USD266.00, Buildcom USD272.27, Ameropa USD272.90 and Olam USD264.64.
Traders said they had received indications a new tender seeking 120,000 tons of feed barley is expected to be issued by Jordan in the coming days, anticipated to close on March 18.
They said the new tender is expected to seek shipment in a series of possible combinations in consignments of 50,000 tons to 60,000 tons in the full month of July and in the full month of August.
