JI Karachi holds Kashmir Solidarity Day rally

KARACHI: To observe Kashmir Day, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi organized a Kashmir Solidarity Rally from Jail Chowrangi to Mazar-e-Quaid on Thursday.

The march was led by JI Karachi chief Monem Zafar, while JI Pakistan Central General Secretary Ameer-ul-Azeem delivered the presidential address. A large number of Karachi residents from diverse backgrounds participated in the rally.

In his address, Ameer-ul-Azeem criticized Pakistan’s rulers for remaining silent while India steadily advances in occupied Kashmir. He said the Indian Prime Minister took a decisive step by abolishing Kashmir’s special constitutional status, yet Pakistan failed to respond.
