KARACHI: Karachi Metropolitan Corporation has initiated a comprehensive road rehabilitation program across the city at an estimated cost of Rs 5.54 billion, covering roads’ length of 68 kilometres.

This will improve urban mobility and upgrade city infrastructure with a modern and sustainable outlook.

Mayor Karachi, Barrister Murtaza Wahab, has reassured that his leadership is focused on delivering visible improvements across the city. This initiative reflects the Pakistan Peoples Party’s unwavering commitment to Karachi and its residents.

With the continued support of Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and the Sindh Government, KMC remains committed to upgrading Karachi’s infrastructure and addressing long-standing civic challenges.

“Our mission is to transform Karachi through sustainable development and efficient governance. These road rehabilitation projects are a step toward to restoring Karachi as a vibrant well-connected, and liveable city — the true City of Lights,” he reaffirmed.
