Double-decker buses to roll out across Karachi soon: Sharjeel Memon

The Government of Sindh announced on Monday that double-decker buses for Karachi had reached the port and would soon be operational.

In a tweet, Senior Minister Shahjeel Memon, who also holds portfolio of transport department, said, “Soon these buses will be on roads for the people of Karachi by the transport department government of Sindh.”

In November, the government announced that double-decker buses and new electric buses will soon be on Karachi’s roads.

Memon had also said that the government also planned to launch the EV taxi service by December and add another five hundred buses during the current financial year.

He said that new People’s Bus Service routes in other districts will start soon.
