KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 161,052 tonnes of cargo comprising 123,087 tonnes of import cargo and 37,965 tonnes of export cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The total import cargo of123,087 tonnes comprised of40,340 tonnes of Containerized Cargo,648 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo,3,921 tonnes of Lentils, 9,480 tonnes of Soya Bean Seeds,& 68,698 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The total export cargo of 37,965 tonnes comprised of 22,428 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 373 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, & 15,164 tonnes of Cement.
Around, 06 ships namely, Rnov Al Raiskh, Rnov Shinas, Msc Vita, Don Juan, Wan Hai 316, Spirit Of Bertram, & Maersk Kowloon berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Approximately, 05 ships namely, One Mission, M.T Sargodha, Xin Pu Dong, Gfs Genesis, & Oocl Le Havre sailed from Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
A total of seven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them three ships, Eleni-T, Limco Gold and Turtle Island expected to sail on Tuesday afternoon.
Cargo volume of 203,872 tonnes, comprising 146,842 tonnes imports cargo and 57,030 export cargo carried in 4,218 Containers (2,268 TEUs Imports & 1,950 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 13 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them five ships, Manta Sena, Aqua Spirit, Lusail, Libero and GFS Genesis & four more ships, Emmanuel-P, MSC Roberta-V, Maya Gas and Boa Yuan Ling carrying Rice, LPG, LNG, Coal, Container, LPG and Coal are expected to take berths at MW-1, SSGC, EETL, PIBT, QICT, EVTL and MW-4 on Tuesday 2nd December, 2025.
