KARACHI: Sindh Cabinet approves revision in water rates for DHA pipeline project, reducing the water price from Rs 0.85 to Rs 0.60 per gallon.
The new rate was proposed after KWSC and DHA negotiations. The payment period remains 10 years.
The financial sustainability of the project and the affordable price for DHA were taken into account, the cabinet was informed.
