LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif directed the authorities concerned to take strict action against usurpers who are robbing rights of helpless widows. She also directed them to adopt quick measures to resolve on priority basis possession cases of helpless widows, besides submitting a daily report in this regard.
The Chief Minister directed for the full implementation of Ordinance 2025 and said that Deputy Commissioners of all districts should hold daily DRC meetings which she would personally monitor.
The CM was briefed by the authorities concerned that announcements would be made in mosques to apprise public of immediate government measures against illegal occupation in Punjab.
