KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 172,729 tonnes of cargo comprising 94,450 tonnes of import cargo and 78,279 tonnes of export cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The total import cargo of 94,450 tonnes comprised of 78,577 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 3,264 tonnes of Lentils, 11, 458 tonnes of Rock Phosphate & 1,151 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The total export cargo of 78,279 tonnes comprised of 46,909 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 522 tonnes of B. Bulk Cargo, 9,628 tonnes of Cement, 15,120 tonnes of Clinkers & 6,100 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Around, 04 ships namely, Engiadina, Ts Keelung, Pvt Flora & Cma Cgm Maupassant berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Approximately, 03 ships namely, Msc Jasmine X, Jolly Argento & Happy Trader, sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
A total of eleven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them three ships, Hua Chuang-66, Southern Anoa and Serengeti Park left the port on Tuesday morning, while another ship ‘Seaspan Santos’ expected to sail on Tuesday.
Cargo volume of 204,774 tonnes, comprising 156,576 tonnes imports cargo and48,198 export cargo carried in 5,263 Containers (2,469 TEUs Imports & 2,794 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 13 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them two ships, Golden Curl and Navigator Leo carrying Palm oil and LPG are expected to take berths at LCT and EVTL on Tuesday 25th November, 2025.
