Philippines bought around 50,000 metric tons of feed wheat from Australia, traders say

HAMBURG: An importer group in the Philippines is believed on Friday to have bought around 50,000 metric tons of animal feed wheat, expected to be sourced from Australia, European traders said on Monday.

Traders estimated the wheat purchase was made in the mid to high $280s a ton c&f and was expected to be for September shipment.

Reports reflect assessments from traders and further estimates of prices and volumes are possible.
