LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Tuesday disposed a petition filed for the recovery of the alleged abducted general manager of a beverage company Atif Afzal as he reached home safely.
Earlier, the petitioner’s counsel told the court that the abducted father of the petitioner had safely reached home and he wanted to withdraw the petition.
The court disposed of the petition as withdrawn.
The petitioner Danial Afzal Khan had alleged that his father was abducted from Pattoki. He said the police had not registered an FIR regarding the abduction of his father. He, therefore, asked the court to direct the police to lodge a case and recover his father at the earliest.
