KARACHI: On Wednesday at PMEX, the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR28.704 billion and the number of lots traded was 20,240.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 13.452 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 4.864 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 4.133 billion), Platinum (PKR 2.284 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.454 billion), Silver (PKR 959.234 million), DJ (PKR 655.681 million), SP 500 (PKR 450.861 million), Natural Gas (PKR 166.267 million), Copper (PKR 104.154 million), Japan Equity (PKR 101.415 million),Brent (PKR 51.509 million)and Palladium (PKR 27.084 million).
In Agricultural commodities, 22lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 28.087 million were traded.
