SNGPL emergency teams available 24/7 for swift response

ISLAMABAD: The Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL) emergency teams are available round the clock 24/7 for a swift response.

A gas blast incident in G-6/2 Islamabad occurred due to a leakage in a consumer's house line. This was stated by Shahid Akram, SNGPL's senior officer media affairs, here on Thursday. The spokesman clarified that no such complaint from G-6/2 was received on Wednesday at any of SNGPL’s complaint centres or Call Centre 1199.

Shahid further stated that the gas supply of the affected house has been suspended. It is worth mentioning that the SNGPL’s installations at the premises including gas meter and service pipe were found intact, he added.

Shahid requested valued consumers of the SNGPL to adopt all essentially required precautionary measures while using the facility to avoid such unpleasant incidents in future.
