Jazz retains top spot as fastest mobile internet provider

ISLAMABAD: Jazz retained its top spot as the fastest mobile internet provider in Pakistan during the fourth quarter of 2023, Ookla’s latest market report has revealed.

The new rankings make Jazz the country’s fastest mobile broadband provider of the year 2023, claiming first spots in all of Ookla’s 2023 rankings in the said category.

With an average download speed of 21.38 Mbps, Jazz outperformed not only other mobile operators but also all fixed broadband providers but one in Q4, 2023.

Other mobile operators including Zong, Ufone, and Telenor reported download speeds of 19.52 Mpbs, 10.18 Mbps, and 5.14 Mbps, respectively.

Jazz is also reported to have been the most consistent mobile broadband provider during 2023, reporting the highest consistency of 82.1 percent in Q1 and 80.5 percent in Q3. For Q4, 2023, Jazz’s consistency score was 81.9 percent, second only to Zong’s 83.2 percent leading score.
