KARACHI: President of the United Business Group (UBG), Zubair Tufail has said that although the economic condition of the country is improving and other countries including UAE are ready to invest in Pakistan, but the business segment is surrounded by problems and the caretaker government is aware of it.
The ministers of the sectors are paying close attention to solve the problems of the traders, and we also want the government to continue consultation with us so that the process of industrialisation in the country can be accelerated, employment opportunities will be created and export can be increased.
He said that as a nation, we should use the goods manufactured in the country and the younger generation should not be encouraged so that our industry is strong.
He said that the UBG has won the war in the FPCCI elections in principle and the failed power of the businessman panel.
He said our presidential candidate Atif Ikram Sheikh and senior vice president candidate Saqib Fayyaz Maggo and other candidates will win FPCCI elections with majority.
Talking to the delegation of the business community, Zubair Tufail said that the business community is with us and we are struggling to meet their confidence and will solve their problems.
