KARACHI: Gold prices on Wednesday continued to post a slight fall on the local market, traders said.

They dropped by Rs200 to Rs214200 per tola and Rs172 to Rs183642 per 10 grams.

Silver was selling for Rs2580 per tola and Rs2211.93 per 10 grams. International silver price was quoted as $22.59 per ounce.

On the world market, gold prices stood at $1988 per ounce backed by a $20 premium which is offered for the domestic bullion trade, traders said.
