KARACHI: On Friday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 17.794 billion and the number of lots traded was 14,196.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 6.511 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 4.452 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.871 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.788 billion), DJ (PKR 1.569 billion), Platinum (PKR 866.269 million), Silver (PKR 375.389 million), SP 500 (PKR 110.229 million), Brent (PKR 92.869 million), Natural Gas (PKR 86.906 million), Japan Equity (PKR 59.519 million) and Copper (PKR 9.115 million).
In Agricultural commodities, 20 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 26.165 were traded.
