Gold prices plunge

Recorder Report Published August 19, 2022

KARACHI: Gold prices on Thursday plunged in the local market, traders said. The prices dipped by Rs 2,800 to Rs 142,600 per tola and Rs 2,397 to Rs 122,256 per 10 grams. Gold prices on the world market were quoted for $ 1,771 an ounce.

Silver prices remained unchanged for Rs 1,540 per tola and Rs 1,320.30 per 10 grams, traders said.
