KARACHI: On Monday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 14.831 billion and the number of lots traded at 12,980. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 5.544 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 4.677 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 2.053 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 908.727 million), Silver (PKR 485.138 million), DJ (PKR 416.354 million), Platinum (PKR 361.939 million), Natural Gas (PKR 136.464 million), Copper (PKR 114.424 million), SP 500 (PKR 67.781 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 65.940 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 21 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 26.540 million were traded.
