KARACHI: On Friday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 11.718 billion and the number of lots traded at 12,960. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 4.992 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.801 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.343 billion), Silver (PKR 856.822 million), Platinum (PKR 602.717 million), DJ (PKR 364.117 million), Crude Oil (PKR 227.697 million), Copper (PKR 224.661 million), SP 500 (PKR 199.014 million), Natural Gas (PKR 100.661 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 4.496 million).
In Agricultural Commodities, 14 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 9.424 million were traded.
