KARACHI: Gold on Thursday further grew by Rs550 per tola on the local market, traders said.

This further increase of Rs550 in the precious metal price made it costlier to Rs112300 per tola. Price of gold per 10 grams also grew by Rs472 to Rs96280 on the domestic market. Gold was quoted trading for $1878 per ounce, up by $14 on the world market. Silver was available for Rs1270 per tola, up by Rs20; Rs1071.67 per 10 grams, and $25.73 per ounce, traders said.
