Gold moves up

KARACHI: Gold on Wednesday gained some ground to rise further by Rs450 per tola on the local market, traders said. A rise of Rs450 in the yellow metal price tagged it to Rs112800 per tola. Value of gold per 10 grams also showed an improvement of Rs386 to Rs96708 on the domestic market. Gold was quoted selling for $1875 per ounce, lowering by $13 on the world market Silver was available for Rs1200 per tola; Rs1038.80 per 10 grams, and $24.45 per ounce, traders said.
