Vietnam Sept coffee exports down 0.5pc m/m; rice down 36.4pc

HANOI: Vietnam's coffee exports in September fell 0.5pc from August to 99,735 tonnes, government customs data released on Monday showed.

Coffee shipments in the first nine months of this year fell 1.4pc from a year earlier to 1.25 million tonnes, the Customs Department said in a statement.

Vietnam's rice exports in September fell 36.4pc from the previous month to 385,429 tonnes, the department said.

The country's rice exports in the January-September period fell 1.4pc year on year to 4.99 million tonnes, it said.
