HAMBURG: An Ethiopian government agency has again postponed the date for price submissions in an international tender to buy 400,000 tonnes of milling wheat, European traders said on Tuesday.

The tender will now close on July 24 instead of July 20 as previously scheduled.

The tender had originally had been scheduled to close on July 10.

Ethiopia had on June 9 also cancelled a planned purchase of 400,000 tonnes of wheat provisionally bought in May.

Ethiopia continues to feel the impact of continued drought which devastated farms in some regions.
