KIEV: Ukraine's 2017/18 barley exports may fall 16 percent to 4.5 million tonnes due to a smaller harvest, analyst UkrAgroConsult forecast on Thursday.
Ukraine harvested 8.6 million tonnes of barley this year, down from 9.5 million in 2017.
Ukrainian exporters supplied 416,100 tonnes of barley to foreign markets in the first four months of the 2017/18 July-June season, down 21 percent from the same period a year earlier, UkrAgroConsult said in a statement.
