CoAS installs Lieutenant General Masood Aslam as Colonel Commandant

Chief of the Army Staff (CoAS) General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani on Saturday installed Lieutenant General Muhammad Masood Aslam as the Colonel Commandant (CC) of Punjab Regiment in an impressive but simple ceremony at Punjab Regiment Centre, Mardan.
The Chief of Army Staff and the Colonel-in-Chief of the Punjab Regiment, General Muhammad Aziz Khan (Retd) pinned the badges of rank on the shoulders of Lieutenant General Masood Aslam, to formally install him as the Colonel Commandant.
The COAS also laid a floral wreath at the "Yadgar-e-Shuhda". A large number of senior serving and retired military officers, junior commissioned officers and men of the Punjab Regiment attended the ceremony.
