United-Airline-incident-102A Doctor, who refused to surrender his seat on an overbooked United Airlines flight, was forcefully dragged off the plane by security in a harrowing scene.

The brutal assault of the security staff was recorded by the passengers, the New York Post reported.

The incident took place at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport before the flight to Louisville, Kentucky.

A short video posted by passenger Audra Bridges shows uniformed security personnel pulling the screaming man in front of horrified passengers.

One officer involved in the incident has been stood down by the Chicago Aviation Department.

More footage shows the passenger, clearly shaken, in the aftermath of the incident. He can be heard repeating “just kill me” to himself.

In a video of the actual incident, one woman is heard saying: “Oh my

God! What are you doing?”.

“Look at what you did to him,” a man is then heard saying as the man — who suffered an injury to the mouth — is dragged along the aisle with his stomach exposed.

“Good work, way to go,” another passenger says derisively.

A latter circulated to employees, in which United Chief Executive Officer Oscar Munoz did not apologize for the way the passenger was handled, writing that the passenger had "defied" security officers, the US newspaper reported.

"We sought volunteers and then followed our involuntary denial of boarding process (including offering up to $1,000 in compensation)," Munoz wrote. "When we approached one of these passengers to explain apologetically that he was being denied boarding, he raised his voice and refused to comply with crew member instructions," it added.
