Miss Earth Pakistan 2016 and winner of Miss Pakistan World 2015, Anzhelika Tahir will represent the country in Miss Eco International 2017 to be held in Egypt on April 14 this year.
Participants from 80 countries round the globe will take part in the competition this year, in which the titleholder of Miss Eco International Pakistan 2017 will be Pakistani-Ukrainian model and actress Anzhelika Tahir.
This fresh-faced starlet has also made her debut in a Pakistani movie named ‘Na Band, Na Baarati’, playing opposite Mikal Zulfiqar and Ali Kazmi directed by Pakistani-Canadian film-maker, Sonia Ahmed.
Tahir, who has participated in four previous international pageants, brought two crowns for Pakistan as well as a Gold Medal and a Model Award.
Miss ECO 2017 is an international beauty contest with the slogan “Beauty for Eco†aiming to awaken the youth for saving the earth and environment, through the theme of ‘Economic & Environment care’.
The focus is on the environment and the contestants compete with their talent, their environmental friendly dress also known as “Eco Dress.†The contestants must also do a lot of earth saving activities and promote it as well.
The prime objective of the competition is to choose the best contestant to be the ECO queen for the marketing of Eco-tourism all over the world and promote the principle of agreement that ‘we will save the planet not only environmentally but culturally through the exchange of cultures between queens’.
All eyes would be on this skilled Pakistani beauty queen, who has become the first pageant girl from Pakistan to compete in over four international pageants.
