ABU DHABI: The US government has agreed to donate 100,000 tonnes of wheat to Jordan, a source in Jordan's trade ministry told Reuters on Thursday.
The two countries reached agreement on the donation this week, the source said.
The wheat will be donated to Jordan in 2017 under a US food aid programme.
The US has in past years made a series of wheat donations to Jordan as food aid.
