CHICAGO: Most spot corn bids at elevators and processors around the US Midwest were unchanged on Friday and bids were steady to firmer for soybeans, grain merchants said.
* They said minimal farmer selling underpinned corn bids and prompted an Iowa elevator to raise bids by 9 cents per bushel. Ample global supplies weakened Chicago Trade corn futures, which also tempered producer sales.
* Solid US exports underpinned soybean bids along with CBOT soybean contracts.
* On Friday morning, The US Agriculture Department said private exporters reported a deal to ship 205,000 tonnes of soybeans to unknown destinations in the 2016/17 marketing year.
