Agri deptt urges farmers to carry out spray for removing weeds

LAHORE: Wheat weeds can reduce production of the commodity up to 42 per cent and growers should use T-jet or flat-fan nozzle for carrying out spray to remove weeds.

According to the agriculture department sources, chemical poisons should use for removal of weeds as per recommendations of the department.

Wheat growers were suggested that one bag of Urea should be used on per acre at the time of first water.

In sandy land, after first water, nitrogen fertilizer should be used.
