LONDON: Britain's wheat exports slowed during October but are still running well ahead of last season's pace, customs data showed on Tuesday.
Exports for the month totalled 145,437 tonnes, including 59,266 tonnes to Algeria, down from the prior month's 252,429 tonnes.
Cumulative shipments for the 2016/17 season, which started on July 1, totalled 858,730 tonnes, up from 536,126 tonnes in the same period a year earlier.
