A constellation of music stars, along with some big-name personalities, gathered at the 4th annual prestigious Lux Style Awards, which held on October 3 at Expo Centre, Karachi.
Fans saw glamour and sophistication in the fashions worn by the nominees, presenters and guests who attended this year's awards ceremony. The LSA Red Carpet has become the largest fashion show in Pakistan with each ensemble an individual work of art.
LSA 2003 ushered in the Red Carpet in Pakistan and now every large and small sized event attempts to put together a worthy Red Carpet segment. This year's Lux awards, glitzy, gorgeous, sexy and sensuous, were presented by Uniliver Pakistan Limited. The Catwalk Production was presented by Freiha Altaf. She had teamed up with Fareshteh Islam as Award Manager.
Lux biggest event tributed the movers and shakers in the world of fashion. Last year the awards were held in Dubai. All winners were selected through viewer's choice poll and 12 have been judged through a jury. The jury was appointed by Unilever Pakistan.
Entering the main venue, the Red Carpet area, has given some television channels space to set up their mini stations to air some Red Carpet moments. Pakistan's exciting fashion designers were gearing up for the biggest fashion outing of the year. Renowned stylist Nabila and her creative team had been hired to style performers and presenters. Nabila Altaf finalised the presenters and the stars to walk down the Red Carpet and grace the event. Inside the theatre the evening was all about entertainment. But on the Red Carpet it's the fashion statement that counts.
Nabila participated as LSA stylist since 2003 when she styled the presenters and perfomers. Super-models Aaminah Haq and stunning Iman Ali and Meera were there the LUX girls of the year 2005. This is the first association for all three leading ladies in the capacity of a host.
