imageData security is one of the most essential aspects of modern life, companies invest millions of dollars, installing t the latest data protection software, while individuals are busy adding different password to their every online account.

This process of managing all your passwords is quite painstaking, but is deemed relevant. However, experts suggest that one online data will be much safer if you don’t routinely change your password.

As per The Sun, a British security service CEGS now goes against the popular belief, that internet-users should get into the habit of changing their passwords regularly to prevent them being guessed.

Experts said “It’s one of those counter-intuitive security scenarios; the more often users are forced to change passwords, the greater the overall vulnerability to attack.’

“Most password policies insist that we have to keep changing them. And when forced to change one, the chances are that the new password will be similar to the old one. Attackers can exploit this... New passwords are also more likely to be forgotten, and this carries the productivity costs of users being locked out... CESG now recommends that organisations do not force regular password expiry,” it added.

So just keep a password that you could remember, and your data is alright.
