American actress Amanda Bynes detained on DUI (driving under influence) charge near Los Angeles.
The actress was pulled over shortly before 4 AM local time in her white Mercedes, when CHP says her car came to a stop at a red light and stopped ‘in the middle of the intersection’. “The driver, identified by her driving license as Ms. Amanda Bynes, appeared to be under the influence”, CHP said in a statement, media reported.
Reportedly, Bynes was transported to the West Valley CHP office for evaluation by a ‘Drug Recognition Expert’. Following the evaluation, Bynes was arrested for driving under the influence of a drug, a misdemeanor, CHP confirmed.
‘Easy A’ star was previously held by the court on the same DUI charges back in 2012 and after a lengthy probation she was granted her driving license in April 2014. Now it has been believed that the incident could be result in a probation violation.
