The news has been making the rounds that Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri has landed herself a role in a Hollywood film.
Now Mid-day.com further reveals the film is 20th Century Fox’s upcoming spy comedy ‘Susan Cooper’ which will feature Jason Statham and Melissa McCarthy in the leads.
Nargis will don the role of an secret agent in the film, to be directed by Paul Feig.
Furthermore Fakhri, who was supposed to appear as the leading actress in the remake of 1982’s 'Shaukeen', has opted out of the upcoming Akshay Kumar’s home production.
The news came as a shock to everyone as she committed to the remake much earlier, but reportedly left the project after the production team couldn’t accommodate shooting dates for her to work in the Hollywood film.
