Eight new cases of dengue reported from Sindh

imageKARACHI: Seven new cases of dengue fever were reported from Karachi and one from Hyderabad to Sindh Dengue Surveillance and Control Cell on Wednesday.

Focal Person for Provincial Dengue Surveillance and Control Cell Dr. Muhammad Shakeel Mullick, said 10 and one case each were reported from Karachi and Hyderabad respectively on Tuesday.

He said 48 dengue fever positive patients in Karachi and one in Hyderabad were still under treatment at different hospitals.

The total number of dengue fever patients registered from across Sindh in the current year was said to be 1098, including 1040 from Karachi only.
