KARACHI: On Friday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 17687.96 with a negative change of 52.73and volume of 40,257,570 shares.
High and Low were 17755.56 and 17644.66 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 57,808,270 shares with 247 total traded companies out of which 108 were up, 127 were down and 12 were unchanged.
Chemicals was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 20,586,100 shares. It was followed by Fixed Line Telecommunication with a total traded volume of 6,899,000 shares.
The three top traded companies were Lotte PakPTA with a volume of 11,606,000 and price per share of 7.87 (0.45), Jah.Sidd. Co. with a volume 3,269,000 of price per share of 14.20 (0.23), D.G.K.Cement with a volume 2,145,000 of price per share of 63.50 (0.31).
The top three advancers were Pak.Int.Cont.SD with price per share of 185.80 (8.80), National Exide (PAK) with price per share of 338.00 (6.98) and Philip Morris Pak. share of 228.00 (6.56).
The top three decliners were Indus Dyeing SD with price per share of 448.00 (-22.00), Bata (Pak) with price per share of 1260.00 (-20.00) and Abbott Lab. with price per share of 204.00 (-5.73).
