LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Monday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 3.01 points as LSE-25 Index opened with 3940.99 and closed at 3944.00 points.
The market's overall situation, however, did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 1.677 million shares to close against previous turnover of 2.825 million shares, showing a downward move of 1.147 million shares. While, out of the total 104 active scrips, 19 moved up, 63 remained equal with 22 down value. Attock Refinery Limited, Packages Limited and Fauji Fertilizer Company were Major Gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs. 5.01, Rs. 3.24 and Rs. 1.43 respectively. Engro Corporation Limited, Engro Foods Limited and Sui Northern Gas Pipeline lost their per share value by Rs. 1.25, Re. 0.65 and Re. 0.40.
The Volume Leader of the day included Fauji Cement Company Limited with 383,500 shares, Byco Petroleum Pakistan with 269,500 shares and NIB Bank Limited with 208,500 shares.
