TOKYO: Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM) rubber futures fell on Thursday after three straight sessions of gains, tracking Shanghai futures lower. TOCOM's rubber contract for November delivery finished 2.6 yen, or 1.7%, lower at 154.4 yen per kg, after reaching a more than two-month high on Wednesday.
The most-active rubber contract on the Shanghai futures exchange was down more than 1% to 10,280 yuan per tonne by around 0644 GMT. Prices were softer after a market rally in recent days driven by rising investor confidence over a recovery from the coronavirus pandemic.
