CHICAGO: Chicago Board of Trade corn futures ended lower on Monday for a second straight session, pressured by technical selling and forecasts for generally favorable US crop weather, traders said.
CBOT July corn settled down 2-1/2 cents at $3.23-1/4 per bushel.
Ahead of the weekly US Department of Agriculture (USDA) crop progress report due later on Monday, analysts surveyed by Reuters on average expected the government to report the US corn crop as 94% planted.
