Samsung’s new 292-inch 8K TV turns any wall to cinema

If Samsung’s 146-inch TV, most popularly known as ‘The Wall’, was not enough, the tech giant now is planning to introduce a bigger version of the TV, featuring 8K display.

Tech behemoth Samsung announced its plans to introduce a home version of The Wall, named The Wall Luxury. Starting at only 73-inches and 1080p, the MicroLED tech allows the TV to be customized at any size, scaling up to 292-inches and 8K. This size goes over 24ft in the diagonal.

With its The Wall Luxury, Samsung highlighted the use of its Ambient Mode to decorate the space with art including paintings, photographs, video arts, and customizable images while not using the TV. The TV camouflages with the background or turns into a piece of art instead of just a black screen covering up the entire wall.

“With a depth less than 30mm, the slim, bezel-less infinity design along with customizable décor frames allows the display to blend seamlessly into its surroundings, ensuring no disruption to the desired ambiance of its environment,” explained Samsung.

Moreover, The Wall Luxury will be available globally this July, however, the tech giant didn’t detail the pricing.

Mark Quiroz, Vice President of Product Marketing for Samsung Electronics America said, “We set out to create a product unlike anything else — matching the lifestyle and taste of those looking for the most exclusive and premium visual experiences in their homes.”
