Indian Sikh delegation visits worship places in Buner
PESHAWAR: A visiting five-member Sikh delegation from India has appreciated steps taken by the provincial government for the protection of worship places of minorities.
The delegation on Thursday met with District Police Officer, Shahid Ahmed Khan at his office and lauded comprehensive strategy of provincial government for the safety and protection of minorities.
It also appreciated promotion of adventure and religious tourism in the province.
The delegation head Narmal Singh said they would inform others about unprecedented hospitality and love that they received during their stay in Pakistan.
“We are going back with a message of love and peace to India”, he said.
He informed that it was the first delegation from Amratsar Golden Temple visiting Khyber Pakthunkhwa province since creation of Pakistan.
The delegation visited their worship places in Buner and freely met with local people.
