“By becoming champions, the national cricket team has held our heads high in pride,” she said.

The Pakistan cricket team returned to home amid much fanfare, after grabbing the coveted ICC Champions Trophy by beating archrivals India by 180 runs in the final at Oval, London, on Sunday.

From Pakistan, fast bowler Hasan Ali, Mohammad Amir, opening batsman Fakhar Zaman, and captain Sarfraz Ahmed were key performers for who helped the team claimed their first ever Champions Trophy.
