Pakistan superstar All-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi was presented a beautiful present by none other than the outgoing Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) Raheel Sharif, on Thursday.
The flamboyant All-rounder was awarded a golden pistol by the Army Chief, both were present in Khyber Agency, where the army chief laid foundation stone of Shahid Afridi Stadium.
As per reports, the Army built stadium was named after Afridi as a token to the cricketer services to Pakistan and also to harness FATA youth.
Shahid Afridi in a message on Twitter, praised the COAS saying that it was an honour and privilege to inaugurate stadium in Khyber Agency with COAS Raheel Sharif.
You are Pakistans hero and my hero too. I am humbled and thank you from bottom of my heart for your kind support and backing for me and for your work for Pakistan, he said.
