imagePakistan’s second Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai met Pakistan National cricket team at the end of fourth day at Edgbaston Cricket Ground, the ceremony was conducted by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

It was the time when Pakistan Skipper Misbah ul Haq presented a mini bat with the autograph to Malala in the honour of her remarkable efforts, and also International Cricket Council (ICC) posted a picture in its twitter account.

Nobel laureate was watching the performance live for the first time ever. She said she hopes that Pakistani fans get to watch their national team perform in front of them. Malala said “I am ready to tell the world that Pakistan is a safe place and teams should go there and play cricket,” local media reported.

“What the outside world thinks about Pakistan is not true and all those terrorists are not Pakistanis, so teams should come and play in Pakistan and wherever I will go I will tell the world about this,” she added.

PCB chairman Shaharyar Khan welcomed 19 year old Malala, and introduced to whole team, “It is a pleasure to see Malala here today as she gives a morale boost to the Pakistan players at a crucial time of this Test match. I know that she is keen to watch cricket and enjoy the fine play we have seen so far in this match,” He said.

Pakistan however, lost the third test match against England on Sunday.
