imagePakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued show-cause notice to Muhammad Hafeez for statement against left-arm pacer Mohammad Amir.

Hafeez and Amir were signed by Chittagong to play in the BPL. However, Hafeez had refused to play in team that has Amir. According to local media reports, Hafeez had said that he could not play with a player who had damaged the country’s reputation. Hafeez also said that he would play in the premier league if he gets an offer by any team other than Chittagong.

Earlier in 2010, three Pakistani players namely, Salman Butt, Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Asif were banned from all levels of cricket in a spot-fixing scandal that happened in London’s Lord Stadium.

Muhammad Amir, who is making a comeback to an international event after a gap of more than 5 years. However, Amir’s performance in BPL shows that the cricketer is strongly motivated to regain nation’s trust.
